Great Harbour Cay has been a great first stop in our Bahamas adventures. We’ve seen some really amazing things, but the weather is changing, so we will have to move on…

We left West Palm Beach on Thursday and had an uneventful crossing to the Bahamas. We’ve checked in with the authorities and have officially arrived!

We headed north to West Palm Beach from Miami to join a sailing rally to the Bahamas. A friend of ours was able to join us in West Palm Beach and will be with us for the Jump to the Bahamas. Next stop: Great Harbour Cay (we hope)!

We had a couple of fun days exploring Key Largo before we had to get back to Miami. We did a little exploring in Miami before Kate and Rose had to get to the airport.

After enjoying Christmas in Minneapolis, we returned to the boat with Rose. We made our way south to meet Kate and then made our way to the Keys…

We left Charleston early in the morning on December 12 with a planned 30 plus hour trip outside to St. Augustine, FL. We were able to sail a bit and motor sail quite a bit. It was an uneventful overnight passage to the St. Augustine Inlet…

We got back to Tilia and made our way from North Carolina to Charleston with our daughter, Grace. Our route took us on the ICW and the open ocean…
