After saying goodbye to Jacob, we spent a few days north of the Georgetown area, enjoying peaceful, quiet anchorages, wildlife sightings, and beautiful surroundings. The only miss in Anne’s estimation was a visit to Pink Iguana Beach. Turns out there is such a thing as too many iguanas in one place, making it feel a bit like an infestation. No need to do that again!

After a few days in the quieter cays up north we returned to Georgetown to pick up Anne’s brother Tom for a visit. We had a wonderful time! Fortunately, the wind was right and we were able to sail up the Exumas chains a bit north of Georgetown again, so Tom could get a taste of that life, before we returned to the Georgetown area for him to experience the cruising community as well.

We enjoyed lots of activities – swimming, snorkeling, paddle boarding, beach walks, hiking, beach bonfires, and just spending time chatting and enjoying one another’s company. The week flew by!
